IT'S FRIDAY FRIDAY FRIDAY!!!!

Today was filled with smiles, tears, ups and downs. After school today it was off to Rewell Centre to go shoe shopping. I found two new gorgeous pairs of shoes a black flat and a pair of high heeled boots! :)
Then it was off to the cinema with Kikka, Sanna, Jenny, Yasmin and Becka to see Titanic in 3D. The movie was amazing although it did make me cry.
Once I got home my host mother gave me the greathest thing, a letter from my gorgeous best friend back in Australia. However, I am not allowed to open it until my birthday but thats ok because it's only 8 days away!! :)
All in all I had an amazing day!

!TRAVEL LIVE REMEMBER!

So I am back after a few extremely busy weeks away. In my blogasphere absence I have a experienced a finnish easter, travelled to Russia for a few day with Rotary. I went to my first ever Finnish zoo where I saw some amazing animals and I had my Rotary District Conference.
My very first trip with Rotary was to St,.Petersburg Russia. It was an amzing few days and I met so many new and wonderful people as well as getting to see some old friends from Karkku. It really was amazing to see everyone. While in St.Petersburg we got teh oppurtunity to visit the Herimitage museum, as well as a museum full of weird but wonderful things, we went to a market place in Viborg as well as an amazing folk show. However the best part of the trip had to be when we went to the Russian ballet. I have never been to the ballet so I was extremely luckyt that my first tiem was the Russian ballet. Every dancer was amazing and moved in such a graceful way, I do wish I could be as graceful, lol. I absolutely loved my trip to St.Petersburg and I feel extremely lucky that I had the chance to go.
For Easter my lovely host family took me to Ahtari and Tuuri, one is a hige shopping mall in the middle of nowhere and the other is a small town. When we arrived in Tuuri the smalll town the first thing we did was go to the zoo that was across the road from the hotel where we stayed overnight. In the zoo they had some amazing animals like snow leopards, bears, bear cubs (sooooo cute) moose, deer, wolverines and many others. It was really amazing to see how different the animals here in Finland are too the animals in Australia, Also during easter we went and stayed at my host family's summer cottage for a few days where I went ice-fishing for the first time! Unfortunately I did not catch anything :(.
Over the last month I also had my district conference. This conference is where all the Rotarians in my district come together to discuss everything. However, for us exchange students it is a great chance to catch up with each other. During the day we only had to introduce ourselves and sit in teh meeting for a very short time. Other than that us exchange students all sat together in a room and just hung out and got to spend some time together, talking about all our experiences in Finland, along with pulla and coffee of course.
Today is April 25th so ANZAC day in Australia. For those of you that read this who are not Australian and don't know what ANZAC days is, it is a day where we remember all the soliders who have served for our country in the wars. Also on this day it is traditional to make ANZAC biscuits which is what I have done for my host family, I just hope that they enjoy them.
Ok this is all for now, I promise to be better with my blogging :)
